The hotel's location (2 minutes from Harpa, overlooking the sea, opposite bus stop 5), was great. We stayed twice, once before departing on a cruise, and then on our return. The first room we had was at the back of the hotel, overlooking a car park and building work. The room was VERY hot, uncomfortably so, and the air condition didn't appear to be working. Noisy building work started very early in the morning - not the hotel's fault, but it did disturb our sleep. We were provided with an electric fan the second night, but it was still far too hot for us. On our second visit, our room was at the front of the hotel, brilliant view, the room was pleasantly cool, so a huge improvement. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and with a good selection, everything was fresh and nicely presented. On our departure, we needed to check out very early, and the hotel arranged a taxi to take us to Keflavik and provided us with an early breakfast, this was excellent service. I would certainly stay here again if visiting Reykjavik.

We booked the deluxe seaview room and it was fantastic! Floor to ceiling windows with a view of the harbour, Mt Esja and Harpa. Lots of nice amenities in the room including kettle, nespresso machine, wine glasses and mugs, fridge and safe. Bed was comfortable. Our room included spa access, along with robes and slippers, and it was wonderful to soak in the hot tub and unwind in the sauna at the end of a day. Breakfast was also included in our booking and was nice quality with many options, and served on the 8th floor with a view of the harbour. Staff were very helpful in booking taxis and airport transit. Prime location with short walk to rainbow road, sun voyager, all the main sights in town. Bus stop 6 (Culture House) for tours just up the street. We loved it, splurge that extra for the deluxe seaview if you can!

I have been to Iceland for 10+ times. This hotel has redefined my expectations and I am really grateful for having chosen it during my stay. Location is perfect, right next to Harpa concert hall and Reykjavik harbour with the best window view of mountains. Room is ready clean and cozy, perfect for one person. Wifi internet is smooth which was so helpful for my work coverage during Christmas season. Sky bar view is fantastic. Staff are all kind and supportive and the room cleaning work is phenomenal, really really appreciate the service! Last, the proximity of the hotel right next to Reykjavik harbour really helped when I rushed outdoor for aurora (northern lights) - it just took me 1 minute to walk to the harbour to see northern lights, and I really appreciate!

The entire hotel is welcoming and sufficient for all your needs. The breakfast was wholesome and had many choices. It was nice to be able to see either the sunrise or the sunset from the 8th floor. Beds were very nice and the pillows were comfy. I did bring a top sheet and I'm glad that I did that because that is what I am used to. The Sky Restaurant & Bar overlooks the entire Harbor and it's great for taking pictures of the boats the sky & weather, Harpa and the traffic. The downstairs mineral spa costs an extra $20 for the week but it was so worth it! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Most all the staff spoke English. The location was perfect for me because all I had to do was walk across a street to the Harpa and bus stop five and six were close.

We thought everything was well thought out and enjoyed our stay. We had a room with a wonderful view. The spa was great. The staff were so helpful, all the concierge staff at the desk were knowledgeable and assisted us in finding things to do, dining and answered all our questions. They knew all the great things about the different attractions in Reykjavík, and which to prioritize. The location, right across from Harpa but a few blocks from the busier area was just right. We also had a friend staying at the same time and all thought the breakfast were amazing and the sky bar was a Bonus.
